Toronto has a lot of food festivals that happen during the summer and this is one of them. BBQ Eats Festival is an event targeted at BBQ food from around the world and took place from June 9 – 11, 2017 at Ontario Place. Admission is free and you must purchase tickets for the food. It was $15.00 for 10 tickets and after first purchase of tickets, it is $10.00 for 10 tickets thereafter.
In short, if you eat a lot then this festival can get a bit expensive but it is a good experience to try different foods. The food ranged from 3 to 10 tickets. There was a Heinz photo booth set up at the beginning of the festival and you can have a complimentary photo of yourself with your friends or significant other on a ketchup bottle. This was a cool way to advertise Heinz plus freebies are always good👍.
There was also a Tabasco section with tables set up to test out different Tabasco sauces with tortilla chips. You could also purchase Tabasco sauces as well. I wasn’t sure about the price but I found it fun to test out the different sauces. Tabasco also had a Hot Sauce Challenge for people who were up for the challenge.
